Free Drawing Guide + Art Lesson Inspired by Lulu In The Spotlight

Educators and children’s librarians will enjoy sharing this fun, active story with young readers, not only for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May, but also all year-round where books featuring Asian and, more specifically, South Asian children/families are in short supply.

As an art docent for my children’s elementary school I had the privilege of teaching Night Walk, a lesson created by artist Lee-Jean Lin, a few years ago. It inspired me to create this art project. Many thanks to her and the South Bay Hands on Art team for giving me the opportunity to do one of my favorite things, teach kids art.
In Joy,
Natasha
