It’s been a week of firsts, including being on my first podcast! The work writers do is self motivated, unless we are fulfilling a contract, there is no one telling us we have to write. And sitting down with Matthew Winner filled my cup. His passion for literacy and empowering kids is contagious.

Not to mention, he is a master of his craft. He was named a White House Champion of Change and is on the Apple Podcasts Best of 2021 list.
